What does LoaTree mean?: The “Loa” part of LoaTree comes from the philosophy “Law of Attraction.” The idea is that if you are positive, inspiring, bold, passionate and inclined to make a difference, then you will attract others who feel the same and attract similar life opportunities. Together, we are changing the world. The power of this philosophy cannot be understated.

“Tree” well…we really love trees…roots, green leaves, wisdom, strength, beauty, longevity, air, water, fires, treehouses, habitat, carbon sequestration...ha...well you get it.. The list goes on.

We want to attract and share bold, beautiful, sexy, funky, intelligent, optimistic, innovative, worldly, eco-groovin' people.

We are a catalyst for inspired, highly rewarding and sustainable lifestyles both personally and in business. To that end, LoaTree offers direct services (eg. sustainability consulting, eco-impact marketing, public relations, communication) and also employs the skills and services of current clients/partners to serve new clients. This allows LoaTree to offer a wide selection of sustainable products and services...all from one central, trusted source.

Where is LoaTree located?

Our operations are based on a permaculture ranch just outside of Santa Barbara, California. Santa Barbara is a highly inspirational location on so many levels and we are stoked to be part of this community. We hope to come to a community near you.

Our goal is to organize, promote and provide the infrastructure for our artists, businesses and non-profits as a means achieve their stated goals. Our team has a deep background in public relations, marketing, non-profit organizations, environmental grassroots advocacy, event production, entrepreneurial endeavors and project management.

The beauty of our model is that each new member of the LoaTree family provides incredible value and networks to the rest of the LoaTree family. We work as a team, a family, an ecosystem to ensure that all of the other parts of our team are succeeding.

Co-Founder and Manager: David Fortson

David Fortson comes from a deep background in environmental and social organizing. David has spent the past six years in the business world learning the ins and outs of large companies and small startups.

A lover of art, music and being surrounded by all-star humans, he founded LoaTree as a means of living the dream, living intentionally and living inspired.

When not burning the midnight oil, David chases his daughters, plays music, surfs and hangs with his lovely lady.
